The Role:
As the Business Development Manager for Electric Vehicle Charging, you will develop new business with Charging Point Operators, Mobility Services Providers, and Electric Vehicle Manufacturers. You will enable these companies to provide their customers with a seamless charging experience, grow their top line through cross-operator roaming, and their bottom line through lower capital and operational expenses. The portfolio currently consists of one existing product, Irdeto Keys and Credentials Public Key Infrastructure, and one new product, Irdeto InCharge Charging Infrastructure Services. In your role, you will be participating in the development of both the existing and new value propositions for the segment.
Your mission at Irdeto:
- Create long-term growth opportunities in electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
- Deliver short-, mid-, and long-term financial objectives.
- Stay abreast of regional/global trends in charging/cyber security technologies.
- Stay in direct contact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and customers, across different areas of the business, different geographical regions, and different industries.
- Collaborate with Product Management to build solutions that customers love and with Project Management to deliver them.
- Develop and drive business cases and go-to-market strategies together with Product Management and Marketing organizations.
- Manage won accounts, collaborating with Business Services, Finance, and other support organizations.
- Be an active member of the business development team contributing to the unit’s strategy and ways of working, as well as supporting other team members where possible.
How can you add value to the team?
- You have a business development record from an international company.
- You have prior experience in selling software and services for the electric vehicle charging industry.
- You have existing contacts within the companies in our target segments.
- You understand cybersecurity and managed services.
- You deliver strong presentations both verbally and in writing in English to different audiences from technical teams up to the C-level.
- You are a skilled negotiator with refined business acumen.
- You can work independently, with stakeholders and team members being geographically distributed across multiple time zones.
- You are already located in the DACH region, the BENELUX region, or France.
- It is beneficial, if you have an engineering background and/or if you are familiar with software development processes and solutions.
