As a Software Engineering Intern, you will be part of Denuvo’s development team based in Salzburg, Austria. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced engineers while contributing to the development and operation of cloud applications and services for Denuvo’s Anti-Piracy and Anti-Cheat solutions — used by some of the world’s largest gaming publishers. 

 

This internship will expose you to technologies such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, Python, Docker, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, CloudFormation, etc.), GitLab, and Linux. 

 

Your mission at Irdeto 

  • Support the development and operation of cloud-based (AWS) applications using Java, Spring, and modern web frameworks (e.g., Angular). 

  • Collaborate with engineers on implementing new features and improving existing products. 

  • Contribute to the design and testing of online services with a focus on performance, availability, and reliability. 

  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code under the guidance of senior team members. 

  • Learn agile development practices and participate in team ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint reviews. 

 

How can you add value to the team? 

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 

  • You have some experience or coursework in Java programming and object-oriented development. 

  • Familiarity with Spring, PostgreSQL, or Angular is a plus. 

  • Interest in cloud technologies (AWS) and web frameworks is advantageous. 

  • You bring curiosity, analytical thinking, and a passion for learning and problem-solving. 

  • You are able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
