The Role: Regional Sales Director- CIS
As Regional Sales Director for CIS, you will play a key role in the EMEA sales organization by representing Irdeto and owning full responsibility for the development and continued expansion of new and existing business. This will include a large array of Media and Entertainment players; Broadcasters, Pay-TV and Telco operators alike, so comprehensive experience / knowledge in these industries is necessary, ideally coupled to existing relationships with customers or contacts. You will be based in the region of CIS or Eastern Europe you are responsible for and you need to be prepared to travel frequently.
Success in this role is primarly defined by new business wins and identification of key opportunities to widen our product portfolio into existing key accounts.
Sales and Services Team:
Our global team of sales professionals is out in the field on a daily basis talking to our customers and building long-term relationships. The team identifies new opportunities with current customers and prospects, they safeguard customer satisfaction and they make sure that our customers have a great buying experience.
Your mission at Irdeto:
• Grow our business in the region by acquiring new accounts and widening out within existing customer base.
• Build a healthy pipeline of new opportunities, produce sales forecasts, update customer profiles, and present sales strategies/plans.
• Act as a relationship manager and bring in Irdeto expertise to customers to qualify, and develop solutions to customer needs.
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned quarterly and annual financial targets as well as MBO (Management by Objectives) targets
• Managing the overall sales processes from strategy planning to execution, this position will hold the ultimate accountability for sales revenue targets for Central Eastern Europe.
• Directly manage sales opportunities to exceed quota through effective implementation of the regional sales strategy plan.
• Develop personal relationships with the ‘C-suite’ team in major accounts.
• Ensure that our sales tool is regularly updated with accurate information.
• Ensure that Account Development Plans are created, managed and updated for each major account.
• When required, act as the interface between the customer and the functional internal departments to resolve customer issues.
• Collaborate with industry partners and alliances to create a joint go-to-market ecosystem.
How you can add value to the team?
• Fluent in Russian
• Experience in selling complex solutions and services in broadcast, media, and telecom industry.
• Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Track record in building and managing a healthy pipeline of opportunities within the region.
• Ability to build and execute sales plans and strategies for growth in a complex software solution environment for broadcast, streaming media and telecommunications in conjunction with all of the associated and connected technology.
• A person with gravitas and commercial credibility – an obviously astute and capable business professional.
• A proven track record on personally driving new business in emerging markets.
• Successful negotiation of complex, difficult deals in multiple territories.
• Demonstrable knowledge of commercial business management.
