The Role: 

As the Senior Program Manager for the Anti-Piracy Program, you will lead a high-impact portfolio of strategic initiatives aimed at safeguarding video content across global markets. This role is pivotal in driving Irdeto’s content protection mission and requires exceptional program leadership, strategic thinking, and executive presence.

Operating at the intersection of technology, enforcement, and strategy, you will engage directly with C-suite executives, internal teams and external partners. Your focus will be to align anti-piracy efforts with business objectives, mitigate piracy-related program risks, and deliver measurable impact that protects revenue and brand integrity.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Program Strategy & Execution

  • Define and deliver the strategic roadmap for global anti-piracy initiatives.

  • Align cross-functional workstreams—technical, legal, operational, executive—to program goals and business value.

  • Set and track KPIs related to the anti piracy workstream including tracking actions

  • Drive execution across internal teams and partners within the MCG, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.

Executive & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary program lead providing regular updates on strategy, impact, risks, and opportunities.

  • Translate complex operational and technical updates into actionable insights for executive decision-makers.

  • Partner with Commercial and Legal leadership to align customer and industry engagement with anti-piracy efforts.

  • Facilitate cross-functional reviews and steerco meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

Risk Management & Governance

  • Proactively identify piracy-related threats and develop risk mitigation plans.

  • Manage dependencies across legal jurisdictions, technology stacks, and commercial obligations.

  • Ensure program adherence to regulatory frameworks, compliance standards, and contractual commitments.

Team Leadership & Enablement

  • Lead cross-functional program teams spanning intelligence, enforcement, tech, and legal.

  • Mentor project leads and foster a results-driven, collaborative, and purpose-led culture.

  • Standardize best practices and enable knowledge-sharing across regional anti-piracy teams.

Performance & Financial Oversight

  • Own the program’s financial performance and ensure cost-efficient delivery of business outcomes.

  • Deliver compelling, data-backed impact reporting to internal stakeholders and customers.

  • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing effectiveness, adapting strategies, and incorporating lessons learned.

 

Qualification, Experience & Competencies: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Law, or a related field

  • 8+ years of program management experience, with at least 2 years influencing C-level stakeholders

  • Proven success delivering complex global programs—ideally in media, content protection, or cybersecurity

  • Experience with enforcement programs, rights management, or anti-piracy frameworks is a strong advantage

  • Deep familiarity with Agile, hybrid program models, and matrix organizations

     

 

Skills & Competencies:

 

  • Executive-level communication and influencing skills

  • Strong understanding of the digital content ecosystem and emerging piracy trends

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and high-stakes decision-making

  • Advanced stakeholder management across legal, technical, and commercial teams

  • Financial and strategic acumen to drive program ROI and alignment with business goals

  • Proficiency in program management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project

  • Knowledge of ISO standards, compliance structures, and legal enforcement pathways
