The Role: Test Engineer /Sr. Test Engineer /Lead Test Engineer (RDK)

Your mission at Irdeto:

• Review the product specifications and functional requirements documents.
• Define the test strategy and required test infrastructure for the product.
• Design the test procedures (test scripts) for mainly automated testing.
• Experience in writing test scripts in Java or Python is a must.
• Good to have the knowledge of DVB/STB Domain.
• Good to have the knowledge of RDK.
• Good to have the knowledge of OTT Frontend Testing/Automation.
• Good to have the knowledge of OTT Backend Testing/Automation.
• Test execution on Sanity, Regression, Functional, and Performance Testing.
• Analyse, reproduce and report software defects and special situations.
• Ensure that the test results are recorded in accordance with specified Irdeto standards.
• Manage the reported defect resolution process with the appropriate Managers in the software development team.
• Frequent liaison with customer services and/or other Irdeto departments.
• Working closely across the teams you will gain a strong understanding of our customers’ needs and get involved in improvements of Irdeto’s products.
• You will work with other colleagues on these technical challenges and interface daily with some of our technical teams abroad to ensure product quality.
• You will also be expected to follow the scrum process.

How can you add value to the team?

• You have obtained a Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field.
• You bring multiple years of experience in professional software testing experience.
• You have experience with automation, Manual, API Testing.
•  You have experience with POSTMAN, Selenium Tools.
• Experience in writing test scripts in Java or in Python/JavaScript/Ruby/Groovy would be desirable.
• Good knowledge in continuous integration (Git, GilLab, Docker, Jenkins, Swarm, AWS)
• Good knowledge in network basics (TCP IP, …)
• You have experience in defining test strategy.
• You have experience with defects tracking system and test management JIRA, RTM.
• You are familiar with the Agile Scrum development process.
• You have proficient verbal and written English skills.
• You thrive working in an international, fast-paced technology-driven environment.
• Experience in android testing and automation tool for functional , performance , stress and load testing
