This internship is with our multicultural service operations team, who is responsible for proactively monitoring and resolving application and Infrastructure incidents affecting Irdeto systems and Customers globally, whilst ensuring maximum availability and performance. You will be part the of a team serving as a coordination point for communications between our Global customer base (including TV operators) and Irdeto Engineering, , DevOps, Integration, Security, Architecture and Service Delivery teams. You will help with root cause analysis of recurring incidents and raise escalations to back-line teams as necessary.

You will be at the forefront of managing the service operations for our leading security products, dealing with customers all around the world in a team of expert cloud engineers. You will also have wide access to our online learning platforms to develop new (technical) skills and improve existing ones.

 

Your mission at Irdeto:

• Provide administration and maintenance support for web applications hosted in AWS.
• Perform application troubleshooting to quickly resolve the issues per documented procedures.
• Effectively respond to monitoring alerts, incident tickets, information requests within predefined SLA’s.
• Handling communication and notification on major issues to all stakeholders. Document resolution run books and standard operating procedures.
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives (Automation) and be involved in service transition and launch projects.
• Work with core monitoring tools such as Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, Nagios and Grafana Cloud.
• This position will involve 24*7 shift work.

 

How you can add value to the team:

• You have experience working in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Prior working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS) is advantageous.
• Some experience scripting in one of these languages is advantageous: PowerShell, Bash, Python
