Job Title: Intern – QA (1 Years duration)

Your mission at Irdeto:

• Responsible for testing and integration of various components of the OTT platform, including APIs, CDN, packager, UI and third-party services.
• Identify requirements, document, and track reported software defects using bug tracking tools.
• Refer to technical documents and contribute to test coverage by drafting test cases and tracking their execution.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Required to work closely with leads to ensure the quality of releases are maintained as per the standards.
• Work with API testing tools.

How can you add value to the team?

• Actively assisting with integration testing and complex problem-solving.
• Monitor and analyze test results, provide meaningful feedback, and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Proficiency with the test management tools like Jira, Test Rail etc.
• Working with Postman or similar API testing tools.
• Ability to produce well-organized and easily accessible documentation in Confluence.
• Understanding of testing standards, scripting languages (e.g. Python, Selenium etc.) and automation tools is a plus.
• Good to have basic knowledge of version control systems ex. GitHub. 
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.  Proactive and self-motivated.
• B. E. or B. Tech (Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Information Technology.
