About the role

 

We seek a IT Support Engineer for our India office IT team. The role includes on-site employee support and remote assistance for APAC users. Candidates should have IT helpdesk experience, desktop and network knowledge, and strong teamwork and customer service skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide first-line and on-site technical support: Assist users with desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Handle service requests: Respond to tickets, phone calls, and emails promptly and courteously.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware/software: Ensure all devices and applications meet company standards and procedures.
  • Support multiple platforms: Maintain connectivity and functionality for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices, including access to corporate systems such as email, file servers, and conferencing tools.
  • Collaborate with IT teams: Work with regional and global colleagues to resolve issues and provide a consistent experience for end users.
  • User account and asset management: Assist with account setup, system imaging, software deployment, and asset tracking.
  • Contribute to IT process improvement: Participate in documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives, such as FAQs and user guides.
  • After-hours support: Occasionally provide assistance for urgent issues or projects outside regular working hours.

What we’re looking for

 

  • Degree or certificate in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years in IT desktop/helpdesk support within a networked environment.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, Windows 10/11, macOS, and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with ITSM tools, remote desktop, and basic networking (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN).
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and fundamental IT security (PKI, encryption).
  • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills; customer-oriented.
  • Proactive team player who enjoys problem-solving and regional collaboration.

  • Supported collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
  • Keen interest in new technologies and ongoing learning.
