The Role: IT Support Specialist

As an IT Support Specialist, you will join our Technology team. This team is Irdeto’s center of excellence for Technology Advancement, Innovation, IT, DevOps and Denuvo.  We deliver outstanding service to our customers, both internal and external. We are dedicated to the lifecycle management of Irdeto’s products and services, and ensure our products operate flawlessly in the cloud. 


In this role, you will manage to provide technical assistance to our internal organization and implement system integrations as and when required to automate ServiceDesk tasks. To ensure success as an IT support specialist, you should possess extensive experience in providing information technology support in a fast-paced environment. Top-notch IT support specialists contribute to increased productivity by ensuring that company IT systems run efficiently, and support is provided within the SLA and OLA. 


Your mission at Irdeto: 

  • Consulting with IT managers and other departments as required. 

  • Providing IT assistance to staff and customers. 

  • Training end-users on hardware functionality and software programs. 

  • Resolving logged errors in a timely manner raised in Irdeto’s ITSM. 

  • Monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics. 

  • Updating computer software, as well as upgrading hardware and systems. 

  • Documenting processes and performing diagnostic tests. 

  • Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in IT support. 


How you can add value to the team? 

  • Graduate with a diploma in computer science, information technology, or similar. 

  • 3-5 years of experience as an IT support specialist. 

  • Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries. 

  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks. 

  • Proficiency in IT help-desk software, such as FreshService and SysAid. 

  • Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics. 

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Zoom, Office 365, & other common SAAS applications. 

  • Knowledge of Deployment platforms such as Jamf, Intune and Autopilot. 

  • Knowledge of Windows OS(MCSE), Networking (CCNA), Azure AD & LDAP. 

  • Knowledge of scripting, Python and Powershell is a plus. 

  • Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support. 

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
