The Role:

In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will be working with an international team of cybersecurity experts to tackle threats against our local and global customers’ assets (media and video games for example). The perfect opportunity for someone who gets excited about the world of cybersecurity and is keen to contribute their skills and experience to work on a global scale. 

As part of a team of cybersecurity experts, you will deliver cybersecurity projects to our customers in the video games industry and media sectors. As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats to our customers. This role requires a technical background. You will use your expertise to identify vulnerabilities, predict potential threats, and advise on protective measures. As part of this role, you will be triaging and analyzing technical reports, determining accuracy, and assessing the impact to our customers.

 

 

Key responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on technical investigations into various threats affecting our customer’s Intellectual Property (e.g. videogames) and write detailed technical reports based on your findings.  
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of cyber threats, including malware analysis, threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and indicators of compromise (IoCs).
  • Monitor open-source intelligence (OSINT), social media, and dark web forums for potential threats.
  • Review, analyze and, where needed, acquire and test various threats affecting our customer’s Intellectual Property and Security published online in public and private forums.
  • Develop and maintain threat intelligence feeds and platforms to ensure timely dissemination of intelligence to relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform threat modeling and risk assessments to identify potential security gaps and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Create and present regular threat intelligence reports and briefings to inform stakeholders about the threat landscape and risk posture.
  • Keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Work on other duties as assigned. 

 

How can you add value to the team?

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, cybersecurity, or a related technical role.
  • Good understanding of the media/entertainment and videogaming space (it helps if you are a gamer)  
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and standards (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, NIST).
  • Experience with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs) and tools.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation of analysis and reporting tasks.
  • Strong understanding of cyber threats, attack vectors, and common exploitation techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify patterns and anomalies.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Relevant cybersecurity and CTI certifications are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in additional languages, particularly Russian or Chinese, is a plus.
  • While we prefer a degree in Computer Science or Information Security, for this role your skillset and experience will be the decisive factor.
