The Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer/Full Stack, you will work in a scrum team to design, implement, and validate our web service host platform that is used by Irdeto internal and external customers. You will be exposed to various tools and technologies, such as React, Angular, JavaScript, Python, DynamoDB, NodeJS, AWS, Git, and Auth0.

Your mission at Irdeto:

• Foster a professional engineering culture and help to grow our standards, by keeping your industry knowledge on software development up-to-date and spreading that in the organization.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and implement software requirements.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Develop, improve, maintain, and document clean code, in an agile manner, as part of a Scrum Team.
• Practice the DevOps mindset, you build it, you run it.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve development processes.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to development guidelines.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and technical growth within the team.

How you can add value to the team:

• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, or related technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with a strong focus on both frontend and backend development.
• Proficient in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Strong knowledge of backend technologies such as Node.js, Python or similar languages.
• Experience working with databases (e.g., DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and proficiency in writing efficient database queries.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within scope.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and what is required for a job.
• Highly organized, thorough, and motivated professional.
