The Role: 

Are you our next Social Media and Public Relations and Social Media Content Specialist?! This exciting role is part of the PR and Communications team, driving content development for both internal and external audiences using media, and social media channels. With a global remit you get to support our all our lines of businesses: Video Entertainment, Video Games and Connected Transport. You will have active and regular interactions with the creative and digital marketing team, content marketing, and product marketing teams, as well as other internal and external stakeholders. As an active touch point for journalists from business and trade media, you will be present at events but connect with them at a global level remotely.  

 
 

Your mission at Irdeto: 

  • Enhance our brand through media relations and social media. 

  • Develop engaging social media campaigns to drive and increase engagement on our corporate social media channels. 

  • Manage Irdeto social media channels by developing and executing content. 

  • Manage the employee ambassador platform and source relevant and interesting articles and stories to be shared, curate and develop engaging and newsworthy content for senior leadership. 

  • Support and develop marketing and PR content, such asincluding press releases and media pitch notesarticles, blogs, thought leadership. 

  • Create media target lists and build relationships with journalists. 

  • Develop media briefing books to prepare leaders before interviews, and follow up with journalists to aid in supporting coverage.  

  • Work with the global marketing team to drive and support the global strategic marketing plan. 

  • Help to build reputation and awareness, thought leadership, and an understanding of Irdeto’s solutions and services among influencers in established and new markets, including video entertainment, video games, connected transport, and connected health. 

  • Manage and maintain global media lists, speaker, and awards submissions. 

  • Support Liaise with internal communication efforts as necessaryto provide updates on external communications activity. 

  • Lead Provide PR and Communications reporting and results tracking. 

  • Monitor news coverage for articles discussing Irdeto and relevant industry topics. 

  How you can add value to the team? 

  • Experience in developing and executing PR and social media campaigns. 
 

  • 2-3 years of experience at a PR agency, performing in-house PR, and/or in content generationdeveloping short and long-form external content in B2B environment.. 

  • Ability to build and maintain positive and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Excellent written and verbal skillsskill on a (near) native English speaker level and interpersonal communication skills. 

  • BA/BSc in public relations, business, communications, or marketing-related fields advantageous

  • Strategic, creative, collaborative, proactive, problem solver, and enthusiastic attitude. 

  • Focus on outcomes – highly organized, able to multi-task, detail oriented.
