As a Procurement Specialist at Irdeto you will be primarily responsible for executing strategic sourcing initiatives, managing supplier contracts, and handling operational procurement activities for Marketing and Facilities. In this role you will also have opportunities to support in other areas of the business as required. Critical to optimizing supplier relationships, ensuring cost efficiency, and driving procurement best practices while aligning with business objectives, you will bring your knowledge gained in these areas already. What you will do: 

Strategic Sourcing  

  • Align with group strategies to ensure optimum value gained from existing and future synergies. 

  • Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and supplier innovations. 

  • Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contract execution to maximize value. 

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and align procurement activities accordingly. 

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices. 

Contract & Supplier Management 

  • Develop and manage supplier relationships, ensuring performance and continuous improvement. 

  • Lead contract negotiations and oversee contract lifecycle management. 

  • Monitor supplier compliance & adherence to service levels. 

  • Manage escalations and resolve supplier-related issues efficiently. 

Operational Procurement 

  • Support end-to-end procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, end to end Pilot case creation and purchase order management. 

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of procurement transactions. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize procurement workflows and efficiency. 

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and drive implementation 

 

Additional responsibilities: 

  • Provide support to the greater Procurement team as/when required 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and support  

  • Maintain compliance in all procurement related activities.

 

What you bring to the role:

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. 

  • Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience as a buyer. 

  • Experience in sourcing execution and negotiations 

  • Experience with procurement tools and ERP systems. 

  • Fluency in English; Dutch language proficiency is a plus.
