The Role: 

As a Payroll Specialist, you will process the payrolls for 7 countries in the EMEA region. This includes running the payroll reports, coordinating, and checking the payroll with external vendors, preparing the journal, and making sure payments are made timely and accurately. This is an exciting opportunity for a payroll professional who wants to be part of a driven, international team with daily learning opportunities in global finance. 

In this role, you will join our CFO group. This group consists of five teams: Finance, Legal, Procurement, Tax and Facilities. Together we support the operational and strategic decision-making process and provide insight into how the company performs and develops; we manage all financial matters for the company globally and run a value-added procurement function; the team helps to win business through tax and financial deal support in contract negotiations; additionally, we provide modern facilities to ensure you can do our job in an inspiring and energizing work environment. 

Your mission at Irdeto: 

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of various EMEA payroll data in accordance with prescribed timetables, via external service providers.  

• NL payroll is processed inhouse via ADP Perman 

• Address payroll inquiries from employees in a timely manner. 

• You work closely together with your colleagues in the Finance and HR departments. This requires effective communication skills, transparency, and accountability. 

• Prepare materials for external or internal auditors and provide additional explanations when required. 

• Report to the Global Payroll Manager and execute the procedure/policy established. 

How you can add value to the team:

• An obtained bachelor’s degree. Preferably a PDL and/or VPS qualification.  

• Proven experience as a Payroll or HR Administrator. 

• Maintain a high level of accuracy with tight deadlines and ability to multitask. 

• Basic knowledge of wage taxation, social security law, and employment law. 

• Experience with ADP Perman is an advantage.  

• Experienced user of Microsoft Office. 

• Experience with international payroll would be an asset. 

• Team player and customer-driven attitude. 

• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
