Legal Intern - Contract Metadata Extraction and Administration.
The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented legal intern to join our team and assist with contract metadata extraction and administration. The successful candidate will work closely with our legal department to ensure accurate and efficient handling of contractual documents and related data. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in the legal field, particularly in contract management and analysis.
Your mission at Irdeto
- Contract Metadata Extraction: Assist in extracting relevant metadata from various types of contracts and legal documents using specialized software tools or manual methods.
- Data Entry and Organization: Enter extracted metadata into databases or contract management systems accurately and efficiently. Ensure proper organization and categorization of contractual data for easy retrieval and analysis certainly!
- Documenting Contract Management Processes: Assist in documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for contract management processes. Work closely with team members to capture and formalize the steps involved in contract creation, execution, monitoring, and archiving. Ensure that the documentation is clear, comprehensive, and easily understandable by all stakeholders involved in the contract management lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on extracted metadata to verify accuracy and completeness. Rectify any discrepancies or errors identified during the extraction process.
- Documentation Management: Support the legal team in maintaining comprehensive documentation of contracts and related information. Ensure all contractual documents are properly stored, labeled, and accessible as needed.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the legal department as required, including but not limited to filing, scanning, copying, and organizing legal documents.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency in contract metadata extraction and administration tasks.
How you can add value to the team:
- Currently pursuing a degree in law or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while handling large volumes of data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with contract management software and document management systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
