The Role:

As a Junior Software Engineer/Full Stack, you will work in a scrum team to design, implement, and validate our web service host platform that is used by Irdeto internal and external customers. You will be exposed to various tools and technologies, such as React, Angular, JavaScript, Python, DynamoDB, NodeJS, AWS, Git, Auth0.

Your mission at Irdeto:

• Foster a professional engineering culture and help to grow our standards, by keeping your industry knowledge on software development up-to-date and spread that in the organization.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and implement software requirements.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Develop, improve, maintain and document clean code, in an agile manner, as part of a Scrum Team.
• Practice DevOps mindset, you build it, you run it.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve development processes.

How you can add value to the team:

• BSc/MSc degree of Computer Science or related technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with a strong focus on both frontend and backend development.
• Good knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Good knowledge of backend technologies such as Node.js, Python or similar languages.
• Experience working with databases (e.g., DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and proficiency in writing efficient database queries.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and what is required for a job.
• Highly organized, thorough, and motivated professional.
