In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will be working within an international team of cybersecurity experts to tackle threats against our local and global customers’ assets (media and games for example). The perfect opportunity for someone who gets excited about the world of cybersecurity and is keen to contribute their skills and experience to work on a global scale.
As part of a team of cybersecurity experts, you will deliver cybersecurity projects to our customers in the videogames and media sector. These projects require hands-on security experience, such performing in-depth technical analysis of the latest videogame cheats. Furthermore, research and analysis into the latest security threats to our videogaming and media customers. You are able to investigate these threats, analyze them individually, and able to translate these threats to our customers. Talking about translating, there is no requirement to have Assembly as one of your preferred languages, however this role does require someone that knows their way around command line, able to create and run scripts, understands Wireshark and is able to analyze the functioning of videogame cheats and software.
Your mission at Irdeto:

Perform hands-on technical investigations into various threats affecting our customer’s Intellectual Property (e.g. videogames) and write detailed technical reports based on your findings.

Provide evidence that can be used in court cases. Evidence is collected using a forensically sound process and your reports reflect that.

Review, analyze and, where needed, acquire and test various threats affecting our customer’s Intellectual Property and Security published online in public and private forums.

Support delivery of deliverables according to agreed upon Statement of Works.

Participate and present in customer meetings (1-3) over video conference.

Work on other duties as assigned.
How you can add value to the team?

Minimum of 2 years experience in a cybersecurity role such as a consultant or experience as an IT administrator, network engineer or developer with the affinity for cybersecurity.

Good understanding of the videogaming space (it helps if you like games)

Deep understanding of networking, Wireshark holds no secrets for you.

Basic knowledge of scripting

Basic knowledge of OSINT (specifically tools to support the process).

Pragmatic in both your work as in your solutions for our customers.

Good understanding of both Windows as Linux (e.g. able to install your own test system, VM’s, troubleshoot errors with videogame cheats).

Excellent verbal and written English communication.
