As a Customer Integration and Support Engineer, you will be the point person for Irdeto technology deployment and support for all regional customers. If you enjoy working with clients, and delivering cutting edge technology and getting the job done then this is the job for you. In this role you will be joining our Video Entertainment team. Conditional access remains key to what we do; from managing new technology implementations, combating online piracy, offering anti-cheat methods for gaming to supporting customers’ demand for high-quality multi-screen experiences Irdeto deliver to a global customer base.
Your mission at Irdeto:
Manage and monitor all installed systems and software at client locations.
Proactively assure highest level of system and software availability.
Provide 1st and 2nd level support.
Liaison with clients and internal engineering teams for problem resolution.
Point person for debugging issues in deployed software.
Manage updates in the client(s) environment.
Provide acceptance testing for watermark releases.
Trouble shoot and maintain deployed tools.
Help integrate our solutions into new and existing client workflows and system.
Build customized tools and software to meet client deliverables.
Travel to client locations as needed.
How you can add value to the team?
Completed Bachelor or Master’s Degree in computer science.
3+ years’ related working experience.
Exceptional communication skills.
Understanding of watermarking or related technology.
Strong working knowledge of Linux and BSD systems.
Experience with SQL.
Experience with Conditional Access, Set top Box and Broadcast operations.
Experience with architecture, design, development and debugging on both Linux and Windows.
Strong understanding of streaming protocols such as HLS, DASH, SmoothStreaming, RTSP, etc.
Strong understanding of media codec details such as H264, HEVC, AAC, AC3, DTS, etc.
Familiar with media containers such as TS, MP4, CFF, etc.
