The Role: Software Engineer 
Bring your interest in gaming into the workplace. As a Software Engineer at Denuvo, you are part of a tight-knit mid-sized team of smart software engineers in Salzburg, Austria. In this role you will be developing and operating cloud applications and services for Denuvo's Anti-Piracy and Anti-Cheat offerings which are used by the world's largest gaming publishers. Our team works on technologies such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, Python, Docker, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, Cloud formation, etc.), Gitlab, and Linux. With great opportunities to grow your technical skills you will be fighting cyber crime, making the gaming experience a better one.

Your mission at Irdeto: 

• Develop and operate cloud-based (AWS) applications with Java, spring, and other modern web frameworks (e.g. Angular). 

• Work with stakeholders on architecting new features and delivering regular improvements to our products. 

• Design and implement online services with a focus on high availability, service performance and reliability. 

• Develop, maintain, and document clean code, in an agile manner, as part of a mid-size Scrum team. 

• Deliver testable, high-quality code and take operational responsibility for the components that you develop. 

 
How can you add value to the team? 

• Obtained a higher education in a technical field such as Computer Science or a similar field 

• Solid technical foundations with demonstratable experience with Java using object-oriented development methods. 

• Experience with Spring, PostgreSQL and Angular is desirable. 

• Affinity with cloud technologies (AWS, etc.) is a plus. 

• Firm understanding of web protocols and technologies is a plus. 

• Analytical thinking and have a passion for solving problems. 

• Able to communicate fluently in English (written and verbal).
