The Role:

As an Anti-Piracy Operations Analyst you will get the opportunity to work independently and with various levels of internal and external resources. You will will be part of a team that is responsible for providing antipiracy services with a focus on combating online piracy. You will get the chance to utilize your knowledge of piracy, enforcement, online investigative techniques, researching piracy technologies, websites, apps, and providing regular reports on piracy trends. 

 

Your mission at Irdeto: 

  • Utilize proprietary software to process and organize files based on visual reference and metadata. 
  • Manage large spreadsheets and file directories with attention to detail. 
  • Focus on individualized tasks for extended periods of time. 
  • Utilize piracy monitoring services and enforcement methodologies for live events. 
  • Research and monitor piracy technologies, P2P, websites and apps to stay up to date on latest digital piracy methods and trends. 
  • Gather and report data, work to meet or exceed client’s Service Level Agreement (SLA). 
  • Review client deliverables and data to ensure a high level of quality and accuracy. 

  

How can you add value to the team? 

  • Experience in a corporate environment, private company, data analysis and/or technology operations 

  • Passionate about sports as well as film, TV, video games industry, and understanding of the online piracy site landscape 

  • Strong PC and Internet skills required, such as Internet architecture and protocols (e.g., SMTP, HTTP, DNS, Whois),online investigation techniques, websites, web browsers, digital video, Microsoft Office suite 

  • Knowledge of data analysis tools, such as MS Excel or Tableau

  • Experience with HTML, HTML5 and CSS 

  • Working knowledge of DMCA and applicable copyright laws 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Strong time and deadline management skills with an attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
