The Role: 

As the Project Manager, you are responsible for making and tracking the detailed project plan with associated dependencies, risks and issues. The projects can be of medium to high complexity involving an end-to-end solution delivery to customers. The end-to-end solution comprises of one or more products e.g. Conditional Access, Middleware, OTT/Multiscreen solution, and Broadband products. 

The Project Manager needs to take a proactive role from requirement capturing till the final acceptance and handover of the project to support teams. This is a customer-facing role closely working with 3rd parties, pre-sales engineer, solution architects, integration engineers, product managers, and test managers to ensure the projects are delivered as per agreed timelines and high quality. You are the owner of the project plan and Statement of work agreed with customer and internal teams. 

The Project Manager, manages the projects and is the connection between customer, product management, sales and engineering to ensure successful completion of projects. As part of the job the role may have a significant amount of international travel for interactions with customer, 3rd parties or various product teams. Project Managers in consultation with solution architect is also responsible for identifying any project dependencies/risks and highlighting them to stake holders on a regular basis. 

Your mission at Irdeto: 

• Ensure the projects are delivered as per agreed time lines and high quality. 
• Take a proactive role from requirement capturing till the final acceptance and handover of the project to support teams. 
• Work with 3rd parties, pre-sales engineers, solution architects, integration engineers, product managers and test managers. 
• Own the project plan and statement of work agreed with customer and internal teams. 
• Ensure smooth and professional communication to customers and internal teams. 
• Responsible (in consultation with solution architect) for identifying any project dependencies/risks and highlighting them to stake holders on a regular basis. 

How you can add value to the team? 

• 10+ years of total experience preferably in STB Middleware and Integration, OTT/Multi-Screen domain and operations of traditional broadcast engineering, conditional access, customer care & billing and IT operations. 
• Multiple year of experience in a broadcast-related business – either vendor or broadcasters. 
• Formal project management certification e.g. PMP, Prince desired. 
• Team leader and team player but able to work independently and remotely. 
• Good logical and analytical skills with the ability to absorb multiple requirements, provide analysis and then provide a practical solutions that meet the customers’ needs. 
• Competent user of the Microsoft Suite of Office applications including Microsoft Visio and Project. 
• Good documentation and reporting skills. 
• Technical and/or Engineering background. 
• Please note: a significant amount of international travel for interactions with customers, 3rd parties or various product teams will be required.
