The Role:  

As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of talented engineers to develop our anti-piracy tools, support partner integrations, and deliver stable, timely services to ensure customer success. We use Scrum for organization and maintain a comprehensive development pipeline to ensure the quality of our deliveries. You should be a team player, passionate about the technologies we use, open-minded, and eager to drive change. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop real-time critical applications within the media coding domain for both on premise and cloud-based platforms. 

• Develop, testing, improve, maintain and document clean code, in an agile manner, as part of a Scrum Team. 

• Work on innovation projects to solve technical challenges with state-of-the-art approaches. 

• Collaborate on the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, together with the DevOps engineers. 

• Timely support to customer queries and address reported field issues. 

Skills and experience we expect:

• A BSc/MSc Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a similar field 

• Strong development skills in C, C++ and Python, with a desire to learn new technologies 

• Experience with development on Linux environment 

• Solid understanding of the software development process (Working agile is advantageous) 

• Exposure to QA (besides unit testing, also component, integration, system and acceptance testing and automation at every level) 

• Proficient verbal and written English communication skills 

Value add experience:  

• Experience with video coding domain (i.e. H264, HEVC, MPEG-2, VP8, VP9) 

• Experience with media distribution protocols (i.e. HLS, MSS, MPEG-DASH) 

• Experience or affinity with deployment tools and cloud (Docker, K8s, AWS, etc.) 

• Exposure to delivery tools (Gitlab CI) and versioning systems (Git, etc.)
