The Role: Jr DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled development and integration engineer focused on disciplines encompassing complex monitoring environments. You will contribute to the requirements gathering, deployment methodology, configuration and integration of monitoring stacks as required by both internal and external teams responsible for the ongoing availability and problem rectification of complex systems in both broadcast and OTT content delivery.

You will support and contribute to the on-going development of Irdeto’s monitoring products as they mature in a fast changing environment driven by the various products and workflows facilitating customers business models and operating structures.

Your mission at Irdeto:

• You will be responsible for configuration of monitoring stacks, log collections and aggregration in a FluentD and Loki environment using Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.
• Having an understanding of metrics, log and trace collections such as Mimir, Loki and Tempo are preferrable or adapt your InfluxDB, Splunk, NewReclic or VictoriaMetrics skills.
• You will help define and implement rule creations and flows and populate Grafana dashboards and develop reports for management and engineering staff.

How can you add value to the team?

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and/or relevant experience.
• Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure, services, and architectures with hands-on experience in AWS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders, engineering and operational personel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to tackling challenges and driving innovation.
• In addition to the mentioned technologies experience and understanding of Teraform, GitLab CI/CD automation, Helm Chart creation and ArgCD service configuration an advantage
• Knowledge of the broadcasting and digital audio/video content industry
• Understanding of 24/7 operational environments
